Just now my 6 yr. old daughter was reading about carbohydrates and she questioned me why i don&#039;t allow her to eat many potato dishes as potatoes contains carbohydrates which is a good source of energy.  Just to explain her i browsed for carbohydrates disadvantages and came across this site.  Now  she is fully satisfied and has decided not to munch too many potatoes.
