Hey Sowmya – For problem 1 I would suggest doing some resistance training on your chest and stomach to tighten the muscles in these areas.
Problems 2-4 seem to be mainly linked to your diet although I couldn’t suggest specific foods until I do more research on this topic. If you take a look at my nutrient articles you will be able to see which nutrients can help with those conditions.

Hi Venkatesh – I’m not really sure. That sounds like more of an issue that you should be discussing with your doctor.

Hi Adam – This diet and nutrition category is a good place to start. Alternatively do a search for stamina in the search bar in the top right hand corner and it will bring back all the articles related to stamina.

Congratulations on the wedding Tebogo. I’m surprised you have gained weight doing aerobic exercise. What exercises have you been doing? Has your diet changed since you started exercising?

Dear Tom,
my physique : ht : 5’7″, wt :97.waist 42, lower waist :40…bp: 140/85 ( using medicine to control ) – 3 month s back
now. every day i burning 700 cal appx. 30 minutes walk , cycling +stepper… & 45 min aerobics…i came down to 87..normal bp..waist loss 2 inches..after that i got a shift in my place. now i stopped doing aerobics. but continue to burn 700 cal /day. some times i do 1200 -1400 range also. i am doing walking, tread climber , cycling.
but, i remained static on 87 for the last 12 days. some times, i gained and again lost. i increased the total burn out for a week to 1.5 times. still no use.
there is a little change in the diet i have been taking for the last 12 days. little bit ( very small quantity – i am sure ) is added. previously i used to take 1300-1500 cal in take. now also almost remained on that
please advise me..yesterday i started hiit also….

From personal experience I find eating or not eating before a workout has little effect on my performance. What’s your average food intake in a day? Perhaps there are some unhealthy foods you could cut out?

Hey Marry – I think it’s a bit of a generalisation to say that this happens to all women. My observation would be that when this does happen to women it’s because they get settled and cosy so stop focussing so much on their diet and exercise routine. Also the additional time taken up by looking after children may leave them with no time to exercise.
As for how you can prevent it. Make sure you keep on eating right and exercising regularly.

Hi,
I just started Seat up exercise to tighten my stomach but during the program i am feeling sharp pains on the back of my waist.
I am doing this exercise because i have a very big stomach which wanted to tighten.
Pls give me an answer on what to eliminate the pains.
Thank’s.

Thanks for your comments Christian. Unfortunately, there’s too many possible factors that could be causing these sharp pains. You could have underlying back problems, you could be performing the exercise badly or it could be due to many other reasons. I would advise you to book an appointment with your doctor, explain your concerns to them and stop doing sit ups until you have seen your doctor to prevent any further pain or injuries.
