I think she must have had good genes Yongho.  Although there&#039;s exceptional cases such as your grandmother I think the the overall picture is that smoking does increase your risk of lung cancer and a number of other cancers too.</description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Totally agree with you Strong One. My grandmother has been smoking at least one pack of cigarettes a day since she was 26 (she&#039;s in her 80s now) and the doctor said her lungs were fine.

There isn&#039;t a soul out there that doesn&#039;t know what smoking does to the human body, yet it is still ever-so popular. Especially to the teenagers.
