Totally agree with you Strong One. I think people still see smoking as ‘cool’ despite all the associated health risks. Then when they get hooked they come up with excuses such as; “I like smoking”, “I only do it to pass the time” etc

I think she must have had good genes Yongho. Although there’s exceptional cases such as your grandmother I think the the overall picture is that smoking does increase your risk of lung cancer and a number of other cancers too.

I’m actually not sure if smoking is as bad as people make it seem. My grandmother has been smoking at least one pack of cigarettes a day since she was 26 (she’s in her 80s now) and the doctor said her lungs were fine.

This is the one area of un-healthy living I will never understand.
There isn’t a soul out there that doesn’t know what smoking does to the human body, yet it is still ever-so popular. Especially to the teenagers.
