I'm planning to update my diabetes symptoms article (http://www.freefitnesstips.co.uk/diabetes-symptoms.html) which I wrote when this blog was starting out. I would like to emphasize that DKA is an extremem medical emergency that should be promptly addressed. Hypoglycemia is and can also be a medical emergency, but with DKA you need advanced medical treatment due to the nature of the illness. Hypoglycemia can be immediately treated with some form of glucose and is 'usually' not as severe as DKA. DKA is commonly linked to illness. When a Type I Diabetic (Insulin dependent) gets ill, they sometimes don't take their insulin due to being sick and can result in the aformentioned symptoms. Great info my friend!
